Care Instructions

Follow these simple steps to keep your tattoo looking fresh for up to two weeks.

First 24 Hours

The first day is critical. Keep the tattoo dry and undisturbed. Avoid tight clothing over the area, heavy sweating, and applying any products. Let the ink fully set before normal activities.

Do

✓Let the tattoo dry completely for at least 1 hour after application
✓Apply a thin layer of unscented lotion once daily
✓Pat skin dry gently after showering
✓Choose low-friction placement areas when possible
✓Wash the area with mild soap and water as needed

Don't

✗Do not rub, scratch, or pick at the tattoo
✗Avoid petroleum-based products directly on the design
✗Skip exfoliating scrubs, retinol, and acids on the tattooed area
✗Limit prolonged soaking — baths, hot tubs, and long swims
✗Do not apply on broken, sunburned, or irritated skin

Fading Naturally

FadeINX tattoos are designed to fade gradually over 7–14 days, looking natural as they wear off. Daily washing, friction, and skin renewal all contribute to the fade — this is normal and expected.
